Fibre optic sensory light kits are the brightest way for both adults and children to relax, de-stress and have fun in total safety. As with all of our fibre optic kits, the fibre optic tails carry no electrical current, making them entirely safe, and the light source itself can be located remotely, out of danger. Due to their easy colour changing properties and the striking lighting effects that they produce, our fibre optic sensory kits can also play an important role in stimulating the minds of the handicapped, as well as producing a calming effect on stressed or disturbed individuals.

FIBRE OPTIC KIT CONTENTS

Kits come with colour wheels and are powered by 50, 75 and 100w light sources.

Jacksons offers two types of sensory lighting kits - colour changing and ultra violet. The harnesses in both kit types are made from polymer fibre and as with all of our fibre optic kits are safe to touch as no electricity or heat is transmitted through the fibre.
The colour change property of these sensory lighting kits stimulates the minds of young children and helps in identifying different colours and has also been found to be beneficial for children of any age with learning difficulties.
The fibre optic side glow in these sensory lighting kits is also frequently used as decoration in the home or in commercial properties such as cafes, bars and restaurants.

75W tungsten halogen light source with 1 plug.

UV sensory kits

These UV side sparkle kits consist of cracked polymer fibres in UV reactive sheathing. Up to 8 different colours of tails can be incorporated into one harness. Like all our fibre optic lighting products, these UV side sparkle kits are completely safe to touch, as there is no electricity carried through the fibre tails. The effect provided by these kits is different to that given by the standard side sparkle kits. The tails do not change colour, but by utilising the shimmer wheel which is supplied as standard, a stunning sparkling effect is achieved - even without the use of UV light. Under Ultra Violet black light, which is increasingly being used in treatment and play rooms in hospitals and schools, the tails also glow dramatically. Now people of all ages can enjoy the side glow benefits in the comfort of their own home. The fibre optic side glow in these sensory lighting kits is also frequently used as decoration in the home or in commercial properties such as cafes, bars and restaurants.
